Since the late 1970s, custom essays occasional attempts by zealous Communist bureaucrats to turn the clock back to an earlier age replete with made-to-order legends of selfless Communist “boy scouts” like the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) sapper Lei Feng (1939–1962) simply did not work. Instead, the formerly yawning gap in literary quality essay paper between mainland fiction and the far less political fiction of Taiwan continued to narrow. By 1990, Taiwan had become a primary publishing market for aspiring PRC writers and critics to break into, thereby presenting an alternative custom writing and a challenge to the largely state-controlled PRC publishing industry. Unfortunately, the lack of even a single Nobel Prize in literature for a Chinese writer—until its presentation to the expatriate Kao Hsing-chien (1940–) in 2000—continued to be a vexing issue on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. At essay writing the end of the twentieth century, Chinese novelists had yet to achieve the degree of international acclaim already won by custom essay their compatriots in filmmaking. Still, these fiction writers’ custom essays achievements are so multifarious as to make the following survey far from comprehensive, as many deserving novels and authors must go unmentioned in order to provide a reasonably informative account of the works included—particularly essay paper among novelists in the latter half of the century, on which far less scholarly consensus exists as to their relative merit.
